the flight over

right before and during the first flight. both were pretty uneventful, except for some turbulence and super nasty airplane food.

Actually, the second flight was kind of cool; it was a clear day so I could see where we were flying most of the time (actually, most of the time I was sleeping, but for the rest of the time it was a great view :). We passed over what seemed like infinite farmland, the Alps (QUITE lovely) and flew over Venice while I happened to be reading the Merchant of Venice for class. :D

then went to hostel, had pizza, went to bed, and fell asleep promptly after being up for who knows how many hours. Yay!
